Dog Sports

I’ve been competing in dog sports for about 16 years. My competition partners are primitive dogs. Why primitive dogs? Because there is something truly special about creating a partnership with a dog that is not genetically predisposed to excited to work with me. Primitive dogs have long been labeled “untrainable” and I enjoy challenging this incorrect assumption. In doing so I was the first known owner/trainer to put Barn Hunt titles, Scent Work titles (with the exception of Tracking), and Rally Obedience titles including an off-leash title, on a New Guinea Singing Dog. All done with positive reinforcement training methods.
