If you're looking for Molly Sumridge, you did find them. I'm in the process to reconstructing my website so their isn't much to see at the moment but here is the low down about me until I get things finished — hopefully by the end of September 2025. I’m an anthrozoologist, behavior consultant, and scholar deeply immersed in the study of human-animal relationships, particularly in the consequences of how we see them. My work explores how we shape, construct, and mythologize animals through language, policy, and care, focusing especially on how dog breeds like the New Guinea Singing Dog are constructed and the consequences of beliefs on animal welfare. I currently serve as a Director of Research at the ASPCA, where I help lead research to understand and expand access to veterinary care, and improve shelter outcomes for animals. This site is a hub for my research, writing, and media work. If you're looking for something specific or want to connect, feel free to reach out at [email protected]. I look forward to chatting with you!
